What's In My Handbag? And How Much Does It Cost?

Admit it, you love to be nosey sometimes.. Who doesn't!? And that includes the blog posts on what people have in their make up or handbags. Money Supermarket don't just want to know what's in our handbags but how much it's all worth too because apparently the average handbag plus it's belongings adds up to an average of £850! Share your handbag and it's belongings (with a total price) and you could be in with a chance of winning a Mulberry Bayswater handbag, purse and phone case. Plus 6 runners up will receive £25 ASOS vouchers. Awesome, right? For all the details, click right here! :)

Bessie Handbag Ebay
My "Bessie" shoulder bag.
When I lived at home, the only handbags I'd own were Guess ones. I loved the style and how great I felt with it on my arm. The only trouble was, they didn't last long before they'd start fraying or falling apart and then I'd have to buy a new one. As you can imagine, this got quite expensive. After a few years I decided I might aswel buy cheaper bags and have more of them and it turns out they last just as long and cost much less! Yay :) So the bag I'm currently using, pictured above, is by "Bessie" ?! and was a bargain at £10 off Ebay, brand new.

The contents of my bag.
I'm generally a very organised and tidy person so I was quite suprised to find old receipts and a train ticket in my bag because I'd usually bin them but in my defence, they were zipped neatly in the side compartment, haha :) I try not to carry too much around with me, I hate if my bag feels heavy.

2 booklets of bus timetables for my area, couple of receipts and a train ticket, halls minty thingys, note pad and pen, earrings and my keys.
I rarely use the bus so I haven't ever got a clue what times they run so I need timetables for when I'm home or in my home town. A note pad and pen is a must, is it not? I'd much rather write things down on paper than on my phone, I don't know why. If I have my hair up (which is most of the time) I cannot bear to not have earrings in so I try to always have some in my bag incase I forget!

Studs Primark studded clutch htc
My purse, phone and another bag.
I love my purse.. I love pink and love studs. It's from New Look.. I love New Look too. My phone is a HTC Wildfire S. It's not brand spankin new, I don't need a fancy phone. It does, however, have the BEST case (rilakkuma bear!) and isn't an iphone so it's a winner for me! The studded bag is (from Primark) full of small essentials that I don't want chucked in the bottom of my bag..

Soap and Glory Real Techniques 17 Revlon Batiste
The contents of the studded bag.
Pink and purple cat plasters are essential for cuts and blisters.. Any excuse really ;) I'm prone to headaches and migraines unfortunately so I can never leave the house without headache tablets cause when they come, they come strong :(  A small brush for my unruely hair, a nail file, some form of smelly spray, hand cream, hand sanitiser, dry shampoo and hair bobbles are also essentials. The only make up bits I take with me are for a quick top up.. a pressed or loose powder and a brush plus whatever I'm wearing on my lips that day. I usually have a packet of tissues too (I'd run out there but have replaced them now) so I'm going to include them in the pricing up!
